Our One-Day Air Conditioning Installation Process

When installing your new air conditioner, our initial order of business will be to clear away any existing air conditioning unit. This includes safely recovering and disposing of old refrigerant as mandated by the Ozone Depletion Regulations.

Once your old equipment has been removed from your home, any remaining wiring and piping will be assessed to ensure it meets code and will allow your new unit to function optimally within your home. If any connections fail to meet manufacturer standards, we will replace wiring and piping as necessary.

Once the electrical and piping connections are fully prepared, our team will then install your new air conditioner on a clean, flat, secure surface, evacuate the system, then properly add refrigerant to the air conditioner. Once complete, we will then verify the full operation of the unit and confirm ideal temperatures and internal pressures as per the manufacturers’ recommendations. Lastly, we’ll conduct our safety checks, protocols and complete our documentation.

Maintaining Your New Air Conditioner

Keep your air conditioning unit operating longer and running more efficiently over time with regular, easy maintenance. We recommend regularly changing your air filter (typically every 1-3 months) along with enrolment in our annual air conditioning maintenance program.
