YOUR FURNACE INSTALLATION EXPERTS IN HAMILTON & NEARBY AREAS

Choosing Your New Furnace Unit

Whether you’re considering replacing your home’s furnace to maximize your energy savings, switching from a rental to an owned unit, or replacing an obsolete or broken system, choosing your new furnace model is an important task. Choosing the wrong unit could result in uneven heating throughout your home, issues with moisture, mould and mildew due to untreated humidity levels in the air, inefficient energy usage and more.

To avoid these problems altogether, we’ll put our team of experts to work for you to establish the ideal model, size and efficiency AFUE rating for your space — factoring in your home’s size, layout and your specific heating requirements. Once you’ve selected the best furnace model for your home with the BAM Mechanical team, we’ll then schedule your one-day installation at your convenience.

Carrying only the best high efficiency furnace systems (90-98% AFUE), we specialize in the installation of top furnace brands like:

  • York

  • Payne

  • Goodman

  • Keeprite

  • … and more.

Our One-Day Furnace Installation Process

In order to install your new furnace, we first need to remove and dispose of your existing unit. This typically means disconnecting all electrical connections, ductwork and gas piping, removing your furnace unit and disposing of any hazardous materials according to industry-wide environmental standards.

In some cases, existing ductwork or piping may fail to meet current building codes or may simply be in disrepair. If this is the case for your HVAC system, we will work with you to build an ideal solution, removing faulty components along with your old furnace at this point.

Once your old furnace has been cleared away, we’ll then install your furnace on the clean, flat and secure surface deemed most fitting within your home. We’ll then fabricate, install and secure all new metal ductwork, reconnect gas piping, electrical and venting components.

Once complete, we’ll verify the full operation of the new equipment by performing proper start procedures as per the manufacturers’ recommendations. We’ll also complete our full system safety testing for proper operations, checking for any potential gas leaks, gas pressures and any issues that could hinder proper operation of the furnace.

New Furnace Maintenance

In order to keep your furnace running like new for years to come, we recommend regularly changing your air filter (typically every 1-3 months) along with an annual maintenance appointment with BAM Mechanical.
